Marc joined Devo as CEO in 2020. He has more than 20 years of experience in strategy, venture capital, business development and marketing in the cybersecurity space. A transformative technology leader, Marc thrives on building effective, high-performing cultures and driving continuous improvement in client service excellence. In two years, he’s helped oversee record growth, significant fundraising, and several acquisitions to help boost Devo’s market position. Previously, Marc was COO of LogMeIn, Inc., driving all go-to-market activities leading up to its $4.3B ‘take private’ sale. Before that, he was the co-founder and CEO/GM of IBM Security, a unit he helped to found and grow to more than $2.5B in software and services revenues.
Ingo oversees all legal and regulatory matters for Devo’s operations worldwide. He has 12 years of experience as General Counsel at leading software companies based in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining Devo, Ingo worked at LogicNow, a SaaS MSP provider, and TeamViewer, a connectivity software company.
Before his in-house positions as General Counsel, Ingo was a Senior Associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, a New York-based law firm, advising various global investment firms and portfolio companies on M&A, IPOs, data privacy, IP, and software licensing. Earlier in his career, he was an associate at Clifford Chance, an international law firm headquartered in London.
Sergio joined Devo in 2016 as its first product manager and was named SVP, Product Management in August 2023. He is responsible for driving product capabilities from an initial idea through development and delivery, all while ensuring Devo customers are recognizing significant value.
Sergio has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. He began his career at Bankinter, a pioneering institution in embracing the internet and mobility for business development, where he spent over a decade working in software architecture and innovation roles, contributing to the digital transformation of the organization. Later, he joined Sage, a multinational specializing in management software, in product management roles developing cloud solutions for startups and small businesses. Sergio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Vanessa Comendador joined Devo in April 2022 as Global Director, Human Resource Business Partners and was named Worldwide VP, Human Resources in May 2023. Vanessa is focused on aligning our business needs with our people strategy and is instrumental in making Devo a great place to work and supporting the growth of Devos around the world.
Vanessa brings more than 20 years of HR experience, 14 of which were in leadership roles at Celgene and Bristol Myers Squibb, where she built the HR function from scratch in Spain and Portugal as part of the senior leadership team, worked in Switzerland, the Middle East, Russia, and Turkey, contributed to many international projects and work in global compensation.
Brian is responsible for driving customer value throughout all stages of the Devo journey, including global sales, onboarding and technical services, and customer success. Brian has more than two decades of experience in software sales, including several leadership positions at Brightcove, CA Technologies, Pivotal Software and Symantec.
Brian is passionate about customer and partner success, driving business results and operational excellence. He has deep expertise in SaaS, open source, security, and cloud business models at both pre-IPO companies and large matrixed organizations.
Upesh Patel has decades of executive-level experience in business strategy, partnerships & alliances and corporate development. Most recently, he was vice president of business development at container and cloud-native security pioneer Aqua Security.
Prior to Aqua, he served as Vice President of Business and Corporate Development at CrowdStrike and served several years as Vice President of Business Development at Trusteer, which was acquired by IBM Security. Upesh also spent nearly a decade at Check Point Software driving business development, partnerships and strategic alliances.
Kate leads the company’s global marketing organization. In this role, she’s responsible for all aspects of Devo’s marketing strategy and execution including demand generation, branding, messaging and communications. Kate is a data-driven, global marketing executive whose 20-plus-year career has been focused on activating marketing as a growth engine and amplifying marketing’s impact on the business.
Most recently, Kate was CMO of Syniti, a global leader in enterprise data management. Prior to that, she spent more than 15 years at IBM in leadership roles including CMO for IBM’s $2.5B Security division, where she led a global team of 200 employees.
Mike joined Devo in 2021 as VP of Finance and was named CFO in May 2023. He plays a key role in driving growth, streamlining operations and strengthening the company’s financial performance. He has over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, with specific expertise in financial planning & analysis and compliance. Prior to joining Devo, Mike led FP&A at Extreme Reach, a provider of technology solutions for creative logistics. Prior to that, he held additional roles at Keurig, The Broad Institute and Gorton’s Seafood.
Lars leads Devo’s engineering, production and support teams and is responsible for the development and implementation of Devo’s overall technology strategy. He has more than 20 years of experience leading both fast-growing and large, distributed software engineering teams in DevOps, CloudOps, and deployment.
Wiesner joined Devo from Selligent, where he served as VP of engineering in Belgium and the U.S. He previously spent 15 years at SAP in Germany where in the last half of his tenure he was a VP and a member of SAP’s extended global leadership team. He also worked at Diebold Nixdorf and led the company’s retail software engineering and product management teams in the Netherlands.
