Miscellaneous related information

The following links provide instructions on how to make a cable yourself that puts the sync channel of a standard VGA card where it needs to be. Providing the VGA card can handle the resolution needed for your monitor, this will work BUT you will not be able to display any resolutions below (and ofcourse above) the native resolution of your monitor.
