The Pegasus VL provided sync-on-green but no resolution adaption. Evidently
it is no longer in their product line as it is no longer listed on their web
page.

Video cards designed for use with fixed frequency monitors

The following video boards are all aimed at the fixed frequency monitor market: all support sync-on-green and allow you to run a fixed frequency monitor at resolutions lower than the one the monitor was designed for (this is called resolution adaption- each brand has their own trademarked term for it.) All of these boards have between atleast 60KHz and 70KHz horizontal refresh rates - some manufacturers have different models for each refresh rate, some make boards that handle the whole range.
