[Letter #3 Sent out, on Student Council Letterhead paper]

Embassy of Burkina Faso

Dear Ambassador:
There has been a failure to communicate between our nations. Your
minute gestures to speak with Chairman Brakken have not been looked upon favorably by our Cabinet. We are going to formalize our demands as follows and strongly urge you to forward these to President Compaori with expediency.
Our demands are as follows:
€ Responsiveness to the grievances of all Tuareg peoples in your nation.
€ Partial demilitarization of your armed forces to the extent that they
pose no threat to your neighboring nations.
€ Finally, and most importantly, forfeiture of the Oudalan province to
our administrative and political control.
Understand, Mr. Ambassador, that we are not wishing to deposit our paratroopers into Gorom Gorom in hostility but we will not hesitate to do so. Mr. Compaori has one month with which to reply by letter addressed to myself.
Respectfully,
Maj. Kevin K. Rhodes
Deputy to the Chief of Staff
