Terrorist Training Camp.

Background.

It is said that 2 out of every 4 children born these days is going to become a terrorist at some point. Some terrorize young children, others terrorize playgrounds and others terrorizee wee little toddlers, but most just blow up buildings. Buildings of note that have been blown up are the West German Embassy in Stokholm (1975), the King David Hotel in Jerusalem (1946), the Murrough Federal Building in Oaklahoma City (1995), the Grand Hotel in London (1984) and Mario's Dried Fishstick, Dog and Cheeseball Emporium in Seattle (1998). Perhaps someday you too may contribute to an obscure revolutionary ontology of your own concoction by taking out a KFC near you.

The Event.

Following the August cruise missle strikes by the U.S. against suspected terorist sites in Afghanistan, worldwide terrorism was in turmoil. How could the evolution continue? Where could the freedom fighters train? What does a President's cum taste like?

Ten-Fat-Tigers stepped forward to the rescue, yet again. The Order held a public Terrorist Training Camp which was open for members of the public to participate in. Various terrorist groups were represented, such as the Zapatistas, the IRA, the ETA, Hizballah, the PFLP, and the Mujihadeen, all seen in their respective combat gear. The troops ran through drills and covered bomb making skills. A poster informed viewers what various famed terrorists such as Carlos "the Jackal", Patty Hearst, Abu Nidal, Urlike Meinhof, and Prince Charles had to say about TFT.

The event wasshortlived, but still spurred reactions. One slightly balding yuppie, after reading a flyer entitled "Terrorism: How You Can Help," was so offended he turned to a participant, crumpled up the flyer and threw it at the person. The will to provoke. Another grey-haired fellow asked if the Order supported terrorism. When told 'yes', he muttered, "Hmm. It has its place... Just know who your enemy is," and walked away. Various Jewish people were notably upset, despite the hisorical fact that terrorist groups such as Irgun and the Stern Gang helped found the state of Isreal. Silly jews.

Terror lives for another day.
