The Clown Hatin' Lynch Mob.

Background.

Since their inception deep with in the bowels of some sick 17th Century troubadour's pseudo-scientific laboratory, the dreaded Clown has plagued mankind. Clowns, having propagated deep withing forests for centuries, have slowly emerged to spread terror and fear among humanity. Their grotesque form instils great fear and their penchant for touching young boys has greatly distressed teen-suicide networks around the world. Once localized to bands of travelling highwaymen known as "circuses," Clowns have now settled into city dwellings where they are always on call to attend a party or feast upon the young. We pray that the masses will rise with pitchforks and torches to dispatch of these foul creatures of Hell.

The Event.

On October 14, 1998 a clown could be seen strolling about the downtown area, waving to police officers and honking his horn to the delight of children. Then came the lynch mob. A handful of courageous plain-looking vigilantes burst onto the scene wielding bats and clubs in an attempt to stop the clown. Signs were also sported, featuring such catchy slogans as "CLOWNS ARE BAD" and "DOWN WITH CLOWNS."

Thankfully, many children were around that day to witness their salvation. One clown-loving woman scolded the vigilantes by pointing out, "You guys are going to scare the kids!" One child, obviously already greatly deceived by clown propaganda was taken aback. As the clown ran by he quietly stated, "There's a clown!" And upon seeing the posse pursue, he then whined, "Clowns aren't bad..."

The clown then attempted to enter several large lectures on campus that were in session and the lynch mob were obliged to forcibly extract him. Hundreds of college students were spared great horrors thanks to the anti-clown vigilantes.
