Throughout human history, people have enjoyed being tied up. There are long traditions of persons placing others in bondage as a means of experiencing a unique eroticism. The ancient Romans, at one point in their sordid history, would tie up a person, place them in a sack and toss them into the Agean Sea for sexual pleasure. In 16th century France, the penalty for assasination of the King was the erotic act of being tied to horses and torn in four pieces. Since it was such a lengthy and sexually exausting ritual, often the assasin's ligaments had to be severed to further enhance the mood. Nowadays bondage is primarily used on children and small animals. |
